ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيُّ ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، نَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَدِّ الأَمَانَةَ إِلَى مَنِ ائْتَمَنَكَ ، وَلا تَخُنْ مَنْ خَانَكَ " .
Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Return the trust to the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who betrayed you."
