ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو الأَزْهَرِ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يُغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ ، لَهُ غُنْمُهُ ، وَعَلَيْهِ غُرْمُهُ " .
Sa'id bin al-Musayyib narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "A pledge is not bound; its benefit is taken by the man and its liability is upon him."
