ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْعَابِدِيُّ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا يُغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ لَهُ غُنْمُهُ ، وَعَلَيْهِ غُرْمُهُ " ، زِيَادُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ الثِّقَاتِ ، وَهَذَا إِسْنَادٌ حَسَنٌ مُتَّصِلٌ.
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The pledge is not bound; its benefits will be enjoyed by the one with whom it is kept as collateral, and its liability will be upon him (the one with whom the pledge is kept)."
