نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا الْمَيْمُونِيُّ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرْتُ لأَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ، فَقَالَ لِي : اذْهَبْ إِلَى حَدِيثٍ رَوَاهُ هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ وَجَدَ مَالَهُ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ ، وَيَتْبَعُ الْمُشْتَرِي مَنْ بَاعَهُ " ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ : حَدَّثَنَاهُ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ ، وَقَدْ حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ هُشَيْمٌ بِغَيْرِ شَيْءٍ ، وَرَوَى النَّاسُ عَنْهُ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ شُعْبَةُ ، وَكَنَّاهُ أَبَا سَعْدَةَ.
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If a person's property is found in its original form with someone, then that person has a greater right to that property, and the buyer will go to the one from whom he bought it."
