Hadith 2882

نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَاتِبُ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ، نَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ ، نَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَشْرَبَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ مَاءَ أَخِيهِ ، إِلا بِطَيْبَةٍ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person should accompany his brother until he gives him permission of his own accord."
