نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، نَا عَمِّي . ح وَنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوهَبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، نَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، نَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيَّ ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " اشْتَرَى مِنْ أَعْرَابِيٍّ حِمْلَ خَبَطٍ ، فَلَمَّا وَجَبَ الْبَيْعُ ، قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اخْتَرْ ، فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : عَمَرَكَ اللَّهُ بَيْعًا " ، وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ : فَقَالَ لَهُ الأَعْرَابِيُّ : عَمَرَكَ اللَّهُ بَيْعًا ، قَالَ أَهْلُ اللُّغَةِ : مَعْنَى قَوْلُ الْعَرَبِ : عَمَرَكَ بِفَتْحِ الرَّاءِ : سَأَلْتُ اللَّهَ تَعْمِيرَكَ ، كُلُّهُمْ ثِقَاتٌ.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bought a bundle of leaves from a Bedouin. When the transaction was settled, the Prophet said to him: "You have the option (that if you wish, you may cancel it)." So the man said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): May Allah bless your transaction. In another narration, these words are mentioned: The Bedouin said to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): May Allah prosper your transaction. The experts of language have said: The word "‘amrak Allah" used in the narration means: I pray to Allah that He keeps you prosperous. All the narrators of this narration are trustworthy.
