Abu Anas reports: On one occasion, Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) performed ablution in a gathering, and at that time some of the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were present with him. Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) washed each limb three times, and then asked: "Did you not see the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution in this manner?" So they replied: "Yes!" This narration is also transmitted with another chain of transmission.
