Hadith 2835

ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، نَا يَعْقُوبُ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُبَاعَ الثَّمَرَةُ حَتَّى تَبِينَ صَلاحُهَا ، أَوْ يُبَاعَ صُوفٌ عَلَى ظَهْرٍ ، أَوْ لَبَنٌ فِي ضَرْعٍ ، أَوْ سَمْنٌ فِي لَبَنٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling fruit until it becomes fit for consumption. He (peace be upon him) also forbade (selling) the wool on the back (of an animal), the milk in the udder, and the ghee in the milk.
