Sayyiduna Urwah bin Abi Al-Ja’d narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) learned about a caravan of merchants, so he gave me one dinar and said: “O Urwah! Go to those merchants and buy a goat for me for the price of one dinar.” The narrator says: I went to those merchants and bought two goats for one dinar. Then, as I was driving them back, I met a man on the way who bargained with me, so I sold him one of the goats for one dinar. Then I brought one goat and one dinar and came to the Messenger of Allah and said: “O Messenger of Allah! Here is your goat and here is your dinar.” The Prophet asked: “What did you do?” So I told the Prophet (peace be upon him) the whole story. He said: “O Allah! Bless him in his trade.” The narrator says: I remember this well about myself, I used to stand in the market of Kufa and before returning home, I would earn forty thousand.
