ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الزَّيَّاتُ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، نَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْخِرِّيتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الْبَارِقِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَقِيَ جَلْبًا فَأَعْطَاهُ دِينَارًا ، فَقَالَ : اشْتَرِ لَنَا شَاةً ، قَالَ : فَانْطَلَقَ فَاشْتَرَى شَاتَيْنِ بِدِينَارٍ ، فَلَقِيَهُ رَجُلٌ فَبَاعَهُ شَاةً بِدِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَاةٍ وَدِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : بَارَكَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَكَ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِينِكَ ، قَالَ : فَإِنْ كُنْتُ لأَقُومُ بِالْكُنَاسَةِ فَمَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّى أَرْبَحَ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا " .
Urwah bin Abu Al-Ja'd narrates: The Prophet (ﷺ) learned about a caravan of traders, so he gave a Companion one dinar and ordered: "Buy a goat for me with this." So he went and bought two goats for one dinar, then he met a man who bought one of the goats from him for one dinar. The narrator says: He then came to the Prophet (ﷺ) with one dinar and one goat, so the Prophet said: "May Allah bless your trade." The narrator says: (Such was the situation that) I would stand in a market of Kufa and earn up to forty thousand.
