قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : وَأُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " الْعُمْرَةُ وَاجِبَةٌ كَوُجُوبِ الْحَجِّ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلا " .
It is narrated from Ikrimah that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Umrah is also obligatory upon a person just like Hajj, for the one who has the means to bear its expenses.
