ثنا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، قَالا : نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ أَبُو الأَشْعَثِ ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ جَالِسًا إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، فَسُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ . يَعْنِي الْحَائِضَ تَنْفِرُ ، فَقَالَ : " تُقِيمُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ آخِرُ عَهْدِهَا بِالْبَيْتِ " . قَالَ طَاوُسٌ : فَلا أَدْرِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ نَسِيَهُ أَمْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مَا سَمِعَ أَصْحَابُهُ ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ عَامًا أَوْ عَامَيْنِ شَهِدْتُهُ وَسُئِلَ عَنْهَا ، فَقَالَ : " نُبِّئْتُ أَنَّهُ رُخِّصَ لَهُنَّ ".
Tawus narrates: I was sitting with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he was asked about this matter, that is, about the return of a menstruating woman. He replied: She will remain there until she performs the last circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah. Tawus narrated: I do not know whether Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) forgot this narration or he had not heard the narration which his other companions had heard. After one or two years, I was present with him, and he was asked about this matter, so he said: It has been conveyed to me that these women have been permitted (to return without performing the farewell tawaf).
