ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، نا هَارُونُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَعْلَى الطَّائِفِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ خَالَتِهَا عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَ نِسَاءَهُ أَنْ يَخْرُجْنَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ لَيْلَةَ جَمَعَ فَيَرْمِينَ الْجَمْرَةَ ، ثُمَّ تُصْبِحُ فِي مَنْزِلِهَا فَكَانَتْ تَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ " . قَالَ عَطَاءٌ : وَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَفْعَلُهُ.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed his wives to depart from Muzdalifah at night and to stone the Jamarat, then return to their place of stay in the morning. So the women continued to do so until they passed away (i.e., they continued this practice throughout their lives). Ata narrates: We too will continue to do the same.
