Hadith 2675

ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الإِصْطَخْرِيُّ الْفَقِيهُ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَرْعَرَةَ ، نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ ذَكَرَ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ أَرْطَأَةَ ، فَقَالَ : قَدْ كَانَ يُطْلَبُ وَلَكِنْ عَطَاءٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا تَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not throw pebbles at the Jamarat until the sun has risen."
