Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, to whom the method of giving the adhan was shown in a dream, narrates: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ablution; he washed his blessed face three times, washed both arms twice, and washed both feet twice. Ibn Uyaynah has narrated it in the same way, though its narrator is Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mazani, may Allah be pleased with him, and he is not the companion to whom the method of giving the adhan was taught in a dream.
