Hadith 2610

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، نا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْبَصْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَجَّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ فَقَدْ قَضَى عَنْهُ حَجَّتَهُ ، وَكَانَ لَهُ فَضْلُ عَشْرِ حُجَجٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever performs Hajj on behalf of his father and mother, then he has fulfilled the obligation of Hajj on their behalf, and that person will receive the reward of performing Hajj ten times.”
