Hadith 2608

نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ النَّسَائِيُّ ، نا صِلَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَجَّ عَنْ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ قَضَى عَنْهُمَا مَغْرَمًا بُعِثَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ الأَبْرَارِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever performs Hajj on behalf of his parents or fulfills an obligation on their behalf, he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment among the righteous people.”
