نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَأَبُو الأَزْهَرِ ، قَالا : نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، نا أَبِي ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، يَقُولُ : وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ ، فَطَفِقَ نَاسٌ يَسْأَلُونَهُ ، فَيَقُولُ الْقَائِلُ مِنْهُمْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ أَشْعُرُ أَنَّ الرَّمْيَ قَبْلَ النَّحْرِ ، فَنَحَرْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ارْمِ وَلا حَرَجَ " ، وَطَفِقَ آخَرُ يَقُولُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي لَمْ أَشْعُرْ أَنَّ النَّحْرَ قَبْلَ الْحَلْقِ فَحَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ ، فَيَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " انْحَرْ وَلا حَرَجَ " ، قَالَ : فَمَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يُسْأَلُ عَنْ أَمْرٍ مِمَّا يَنْسَى الْمَرْءُ أَوْ يَجْهَلُ مِنْ تَقْدِيمِ الأُمُورِ بَعْضِهَا قَبْلَ بَعْضٍ وَأَشْبَاهِهَا ، إِلا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " افْعَلْهُ وَلا حَرَجَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates: On the day of sacrifice, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped on his mount, and people began to ask him questions. One of them said: "O Messenger of Allah! I did not know, I thought the stoning should be done after the sacrifice, so I performed the sacrifice before stoning." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Now perform the stoning, there is no harm." Another person said: "O Messenger of Allah! I did not know, I thought the sacrifice should be done before shaving the head, so I shaved my head before performing the sacrifice." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Now perform the sacrifice, there is no harm." (The narrator says) On that day, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that whenever he was asked about any matter by someone who had forgotten or was unaware, meaning he had performed one act before another, or had done something in a different order, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say to him: "Now do it, there is no harm."
