Hadith 2532

ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ، نا أَبُو قِلابَةَ ، نا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، نا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي الشَّعْبِيُّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " سَنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَقَرَةَ وَالْجَزُورَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established this Sunnah: "A cow and a camel will be sacrificed on behalf of seven people."
