ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، وَأَبُو حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالا : نا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمُهَلِّ ، فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ثُمَّ انْتَهَى ، أَرَاهُ يُرِيدُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَالطَّرِيقُ الأُخْرَى مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ مِنْ ذَاتِ عِرْقٍ ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ ، وَمُهَلُّ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ " .
Abu Zubair reports: He heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them) being asked about the place of entering into Ihram, so he narrated from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "For the people of Madinah, the place for entering into Ihram is Dhu’l-Hulaifah; for those coming by another route, it is Juhfah; for the people of Iraq, the specified place is Dhat ‘Irq; for the people of Najd, the specified place is Qarn; and for the people of Yemen, the place for entering into Ihram is Yalamlam."
