Hadith 2491

نا نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا الرَّمَادِيُّ ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ ، بِهَذَا وَقَالَ : حَسْبُكُمْ سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَشْتَرِطُ ، فَإِنْ حَبَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ حَابِسٌ ، فَإِذَا وَصَلَ الْبَيْتَ طَافَ بِهِ ، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، وَيَحْلِقُ وَيُقَصِّرُ وَعَلَيْهِ الْحَجُّ مِنْ قَابِلٍ ".
The same narration has been transmitted with another chain, however, in it are these words: (He said) "The Sunnah of your Prophet is sufficient for you; he did not set any condition. If a person, for any reason, is unable to continue the journey, then whenever he reaches the House of Allah, he should perform Tawaf, perform Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, then shave his head or shorten his hair, and Hajj will become obligatory upon him for that year."
