Hadith 2485

نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُنَادِي ، نا رَوْحٌ ، ثنا أَشْعَثُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا إِذَا سَافَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَعِدْنَا كَبَّرْنَا ، وَإِذَا هَبَطْنَا سَبَّحْنَا " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When we traveled with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when we ascended to a height, we would say Takbir (Allahu Akbar), and when we descended into a low place, we would say Subhan Allah.
