نا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ، نا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، نا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْقُومِسِيُّ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، نا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، نا عَطَاءٌ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : لَيْتَنِي أَرَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ ، فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قُبَّةٍ فَأَتَاهُ الْوَحْيُ ، فَأَشَارَ إِلَى عُمَرَ أَنْ تَعَالَ ، فَأَدْخَلْتُ رَأْسِي الْقُبَّةَ ، فَأَتَى رَجُلٌ قَدْ أَحْرَمَ فِي جُبَّتِهِ بِعُمْرَةٍ مُتَضَمِّخٌ بِطِيبٍ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا تَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ أَحْرَمَ فِي جُبَّتِهِ ؟ ، إِذْ أنزل عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغِطُّ كَذَلِكَ فَسُرِّيَ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَيْنَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي سَأَلَنِي آنِفًا ؟ " ، فَأُتِيَ بِالرَّجُلِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَمَّا الْجُبَّةُ فَاخْلَعْهَا ، وَأَمَّا الطِّيبُ فَاغْسِلْهُ ، ثُمَّ أَحْدِثْ إِحْرَامًا " قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : لا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا قَالَ : ثُمَّ أَحْدِثْ إِحْرَامًا ، غَيْرُ نُوحِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، وَلا أَحْسَبُهُ مَحْفُوظًا . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Safwan bin Ya’la narrates from his father: I wished to see the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the state when revelation was being sent down upon him. Once, when we were at Ja’ranah and the Prophet (peace be upon him) was also there, he was in a tent. Revelation began to descend upon him, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) signaled to me: “Come forward.” I put my head into the tent. A man came who was wearing a cloak and had entered into the state of ihram for ‘umrah, and he had applied perfume. He said: “O Messenger of Allah! What do you command regarding a person who has made the intention of ihram in his cloak?” During this, revelation began to descend upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he started snoring. After this state ended, he asked: “Where is the person who just questioned me?” That man was brought, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “As for the cloak, remove it, and as for the perfume, wash it off, and then enter into ihram anew.” Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman (Imam al-Nasa’i, may Allah have mercy on him) stated: To my knowledge, no one has narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed the man to enter into ihram again, except for the narrator named Nuh bin Habib, and I think these words are not correct. Allah knows best.
