Hadith 2456

ثنا ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نا عُثْمَانُ ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ، عَنْ وَرْقَاءَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ ، قَالَ : " شَوَّالٌ ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ ، وَعَشْرٌ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: (The command of Allah, the Exalted, is) "The months of Hajj are appointed." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: These are Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.
