نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْبَزَّازُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْحُبُلِيُّ ، نا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ غَسَلَ رَأْسَهُ بِخِطْمِيٍّ وَأَشْنَانٍ ، وَدَهَنَهُ بِزَيْتٍ غَيْرِ كَثِيرٍ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) intended to enter the state of Ihram, he would wash his blessed head with khatmi and ushnan, and he would apply olive oil to it. This happened several times.
