نا أحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ ، قَالا : نا إسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، نا سلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، نا حمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ حُذَيْفَةَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : كُنْتُ أَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ عَنْ حَدِيثِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، وَهُوَ إِلَى جَنْبِي لا أَسْأَلُهُ فَأَتَيْتُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ، أَسْلِمْ تَسْلَمْ " فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ . وَقَالَ لِي : " فَإِنَّ الظَّعِينَةَ سَتَرْحَلُ مِنَ الْحِيرَةِ حَتَّى تَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ بِغَيْرِ جِوَارٍ " ، مُخْتَصَرٌ.
Ubaidah bin Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A person stated: I was inquiring from people about the hadith of Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him), and he was present beside me, but I did not ask him about it. Then I went to him, and he informed me: (The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said) "O Adi bin Hatim! Accept Islam, you will be safe." After this, he mentioned the entire hadith, in which these words are found: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "A woman will soon set out on a journey from Hira, until she will (reach Makkah and) perform Tawaf of the House of Allah without the protection of anyone." This narration is brief.
