حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ ، قَالا : نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، أَنَّ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ ، وَقَفَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنَ الْحِيرَةِ بِغَيْرِ جِوَارِ أَحَدٍ ، حَتَّى تَحُجَّ الْبَيْتَ ، وَيُوشِكُ أَنْ يَفِيضَ الْمَالُ حَتَّى يَغْتَمَ الرَّجُلُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَدَقَتَهُ " . قَالَ : فَرَأَيْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ تَخْرُجُ بِغَيْرِ جِوَارِ أَحَدٍ حَتَّى تَحُجَّ الْبَيْتَ ، مُخْتَصَرٌ .
Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) came and stayed with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "A time will soon come when a woman will set out from ‘Hirah’ (a place by name) without being in anyone’s protection, until she performs Hajj of the House of Allah, and a time will soon come when wealth will become so abundant that a man will wish to find someone to accept his charity." Sayyiduna ‘Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw a woman who set out without being in anyone’s protection, until she performed Hajj of the House of Allah. This narration is brief.
