Hadith 2433

نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، نا أَبُو مُوسَى ، نا سَهْلُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، نا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ مَكَّةَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: "It is Sunnah that when a person intends to enter into Ihram, he should perform Ghusl, and when he is about to enter Makkah (he should also perform Ghusl at that time)."
