Hadith 2427

نا نا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نا أَبُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، نا هِشَامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَعَبْدُ الْمَجِيدِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، مثل قَوْلِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ : " السَّبِيلُ : الزَّادُ وَالرَّاحِلَةُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated similar to the statement of Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): "By 'way' is meant having provisions for the journey and means of transportation."
