Hadith 2423

نا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دَبُوقَا ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ الْمُضَفَّرُ ، نا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَجُلا قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا السَّبِيلُ إِلَى الْحَجِّ ؟ قَالَ : " الزَّادُ وَالرَّاحِلَةُ " .
Muhammad bin ‘Abbad narrates: Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to us and informed us: A man asked, “O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by ‘the means’ (sabeel) for Hajj?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Provision for the journey and a mount (being available).”
