بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : { وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ }Chapter on what is mentioned in the verse: "And upon those who can afford it is a ransom..."
Hadith 2380

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ هَارُونَ ، أنا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، ثنا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " رُخِّصَ لِلشَّيْخِ الْكَبِيرِ أَنْ يُفْطِرَ وَيُطْعِمَ عَنْ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا وَلا قَضَاءَ عَلَيْهِ " . وَهَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "This concession is for the elderly man that he may leave fasting and feed a poor person for each day, and making up (the fast) will not be obligatory upon him." Its chain is authentic.
