ثنا الْمَحَامِلِيُّ ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ثَوَابٍ ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَقْصُرُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَيُتِمُّ ، وَيُفْطِرُ وَيَصُومُ " . قَالَ : وَهَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sometimes perform shortened prayers during travel and sometimes perform the full prayers; he would sometimes break the fast and sometimes keep it. The Sheikh states: Its chain of narration is authentic.
