حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عِيسَى ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ : وَأَنَا أَبْرَأُ مِنْ عُهْدَتِهِ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَذْكُرُ أَنَّهُ نَسِيَ صِيَامَ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ، أَصَابَ طَعَامًا ، قَالَ : فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَتِمَّ صِيَامَكَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَطْعَمَكَ وَسَقَاكَ وَلا قَضَاءَ عَلَيْكَ " .
Waleed bin Abdur Rahman narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioning that he forgotfully ate something on the first day of Ramadan while fasting. He narrates: I mentioned this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace be upon him) said: "Complete your fast, indeed Allah Almighty has fed you and given you drink, and there is no make-up (qada) required upon you."
