حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ أَبُو بَكْرٍ السَّرَّاجُ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ نَاسِيًا فَلا قَضَاءَ عَلَيْهِ وَلا كَفَّارَةَ " . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، عَنِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ.
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When someone, during the month of Ramadan (while fasting), forgetfully eats something, then making up (qada) is not obligatory upon him, nor is expiation (kaffarah) obligatory upon him." In narrating this tradition, the narrator named Muhammad bin Marzuq is unique, and he is trustworthy; he is the same one who narrated this tradition from Muhammad bin Abdullah Ansari.
