بَابُ مَنْ أَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ نَاسِيًاChapter on one who eats or drinks forgetfully

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ الْمُهْتَدِي بِاللَّهِ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خُلَيْدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الطَّبَّاعِ ، ثنا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَكَلَ الصَّائِمُ نَاسِيًا أَوْ شَرِبَ نَاسِيًا فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَلا قَضَاءَ عَلَيْهِ " . إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ وَكُلُّهُمْ ثِقَاتٌ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a fasting person forgetfully eats or drinks, then this is sustenance which Allah Almighty has provided for him; there is no making up (qada) required for that person." Its chain is authentic and all its narrators are trustworthy.
