بَابُ سُؤْرِ الْهِرَّةِChapter on the leftover water of a cat
Hadith 214

نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، نا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَتَوَضَّأُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ ، وَقَدْ أَصَابَتْ مِنْهُ الْهِرَّةُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sometimes I and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would perform ablution from the same vessel, from which a cat had previously drunk water. This narration is "Sahih" (authentic).
