حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الْمُقْرِئُ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الدَّقِيقِيُّ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ خَطِيبًا فَأَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ عَنِ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ ، أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ ، أَوْ عَنْ كُلِّ رَأْسٍ ، أَوْ صَاعَ قَمْحٍ " .
Al-Zuhri narrates from Abdullah bin Thalabah, from his father, who said: Once, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon and ordered that a sa’ of dates or a sa’ of barley be given as zakat al-fitr on behalf of every small and great, free and slave. It is to be given on behalf of every person (the narrator is doubtful about some words here).
