Hadith 2046

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، ثنا مِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ نِزَار ٍ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ التَّمَّارُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أُسَيْدٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي زَكَاةِ الْكَرْمِ : " إِنَّهَا تُخْرَصُ كَمَا تُخْرَصُ النَّخْلُ ، ثُمَّ تُؤَدَّى زَكَاتُهُ زَبِيبًا كَمَا تُؤَدَّى زَكَاةُ النَّخْلِ تَمْرًا " . أَنَّ تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ .
Sayyiduna ‘Attab bin Asid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the zakat of grapes: “Its estimation will be made in the same way as the estimation of dates on date palms is made, and then its zakat will be paid in the form of raisins (or dried grapes), just as the zakat of date palms is paid in the form of dates.” Another narrator has also reported this in corroboration.
