حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْفَقِيهُ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالا : نا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لَوْنَيْنِ مِنَ التَّمْرِ : الْجُعْرُورِ ، وَلَوْنِ الْحُبَيْقِ " ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَيَمَّمُونَ شَرَّ ثِمَارِهِمْ ، فَيُخْرِجُونَهَا فِي الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَنَهَى عَنْ لَوْنَيْنِ مِنَ التَّمْرِ ، وَنَزَلَتْ : وَلا تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ سورة البقرة آية 267 . قَالَ يُوسُفُ : قَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ : سُلَيْمَانُ قَالَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ : وَقَدْ قَالَهُ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ وَصَلَهُ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ وَأَرْسَلَهُ عَنْهُ غَيْرُهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from his father: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (accepting as zakat) two types of dates: Ja‘rur and Lawn Ahbiq. The narrator states: Some people would deliberately bring their inferior fruit to give as zakat, so they were prohibited from giving these two types of dates. Regarding this, the following verse was revealed: "And do not intend to spend the inferior thereof." This narration is also transmitted with some other chains. Some have narrated it as a connected (mawsool) narration, and some have narrated it as a mursal narration.
