Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: We found this statement in the writing of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the zakat of camels: "For five camels, the payment of one goat is obligatory; for ten camels, the payment of two goats is obligatory; for fifteen, the payment of three goats is obligatory; for twenty, the payment of four goats is obligatory; for twenty-five, the payment of five goats is obligatory. Then, when they increase, the payment of a bint makhad (a one-year-old she-camel) is obligatory; if that is not available, then the payment of an ibn labun (a two-year-old male camel) is obligatory. This will remain obligatory up to one hundred and thirty-three camels. If there is even one more, then for up to forty-five, the payment of one bint labun (a two-year-old she-camel) is obligatory. Then, if there is even one more, the payment of one hiqqah (a three-year-old she-camel) is obligatory, and this ruling continues up to sixty. Then, if there is even one more, the payment of one jadh’ah (a four-year-old she-camel) is obligatory, and this ruling is up to seventy-five. Then, if there is even one more, the payment of two bint labun is obligatory. If there is even one more, the payment of two hiqqah is obligatory, and this ruling is up to one hundred and twenty camels. If there is even one more, then for every forty, the payment of one jadh’ah is obligatory, and for every fifty, the payment of one hiqqah is obligatory." Salman bin Arqam, the narrator, has narrated in this manner, and this person is weak in hadith and is abandoned.
