بَابُ سُؤْرِ الْهِرَّةِChapter on the leftover water of a cat

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، نا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمُرُّ بِهِ الْهِرُّ فَيُصْغِي لَهَا الإِنَاءَ ، فَتَشْرَبُ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِفَضْلِهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : يَعْقُوبُ هَذَا أَبُو يُوسُفَ الْقَاضِي ، وَعَبْدُ رَبِّهِ هُوَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sometimes a cat would come to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and he would bring a vessel towards it, and it would drink water from it. Then the Prophet would perform ablution (wudu) with the leftover water from which the cat had drunk. The narrator named Abu Bakr states: The narrator of this narration is Yaqub, who is Qadi Abu Yusuf, and the narrator named Abdur-Rabb is Abdullah bin Saeed Maqbari, who is weak.
