حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، ثنا مُسْلِمٌ ، ثنا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ يُزَكِّي مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ وَيَسْتَقْرِضُ مِنْهُ وَيَدْفَعُهُ مُضَارَبَةً " .
Nafi' reports: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to pay zakat from the wealth of the orphan; he would take the obligatory amount from it and then give it forward as mudarabah (profit-sharing investment).
