Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them), narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood to deliver a sermon to the people, and he said: "Whoever becomes the guardian of an orphan who possesses wealth, then he should trade with that wealth for the orphan, and he should not leave it as it is so that zakat consumes it."
