حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، ثنا نَصْرُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ بِهَذَا مِثْلَهُ ، وَزَادَ قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، " فِي الْمَالِ حَقٌّ سِوَى الزَّكَاةِ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ " ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ.
This narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it these additional words are present: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there any right in wealth other than zakat?" The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Yes!" Then he recited this verse: "And he gives his wealth out of love for it."
