حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَبُو نَشِيطٍ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَطَاءٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَأَى فِي يَدَيَّ فَتَخَاتٍ مِنْ وَرِقٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذَا يَا عَائِشَةُ ؟ " ، فَقُلْتُ : صَنَعْتُهُنَّ أَتَزَيَّنُ لَكَ فِيهِنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَتُؤَدِّينَ زَكَاتَهُنَّ ؟ " ، فَقُلْتُ : لا أَوْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَ : " هُنَّ حَسْبُكِ مِنَ النَّارِ " . مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ هَذَا مَجْهُولٌ.
Abdullah bin Shaddad reports: We were present in the service of Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and she said: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to me, and he saw silver bangles in my hand. He (peace be upon him) asked: "O Aisha! Where did these come from?" I replied: "I made them so that I could wear them before you, O Messenger of Allah!" The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "Have you given their zakat?" I replied: "No! (or whatever Allah willed)." So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "These are enough for your punishment in Hell." The narrator named Muhammad bin Ata is unknown.
