حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا الْيَسَعُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، قَالَ : أُتِيَ مُعَاذٌ فِي وَقْصِ الْبَقَرَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " لَمْ يَأْمُرْنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهَا بِشَيْءٍ ، قَالَ : وَهُنَّ مَا دُونَ الثَّلاثِينَ " .
Tawoos narrates: A calf was brought to Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: "The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not give me any instruction regarding this." The narrator states: Their number was less than 30.
