حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الإِصْطَخْرِيُّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْفَقِيهُ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ ، ثنا أبِي ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، ثنا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نَسِيٍّ ، عَنْ مُعَاذٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهُ حِينَ وَجَّهَهُ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ : " أَنْ لا تَأْخُذَ مِنَ الْكَسْرِ شَيْئًا ، إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَرِقُ مِائَتَيْ دِرْهَمٍ فَخُذْ مِنْهَا خَمْسَةَ دَرَاهِمَ ، وَلا تَأْخُذْ مِمَّا زَادَ شَيْئًا حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا ، وَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا فَخُذْ مِنْهُ دِرْهَمًا " . الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَهُوَ أَبُو الْعَطُوفِ وَاسْمُهُ الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ، وَكَانَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ يَقْلِبُ اسْمَهُ إِذَا رَوَى عَنْهُ ، وَعُبَادَةُ بْنُ نَسِيٍّ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ مُعَاذٍ.
Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him to Yemen, he instructed him not to take anything from (a piece of) gold or silver. When the amount of silver reaches two hundred dirhams, then take five dirhams from it. Do not take anything more from it until it reaches forty dirhams more. When it reaches forty dirhams, then take one dirham from it (i.e., take one for every forty). One of the narrators of this narration, Minhal bin Jarrah, is abandoned in hadith; his kunyah is Abu 'Atuf, while his name is Jarrah bin Minhal. The narrator named Ibn Ishaq has reversed his name in transmission. Another narrator of this narration, 'Ubadah bin Nasi, did not hear hadith from Sayyiduna Mu'adh.
