ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْكَاتِبُ ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّائِغُ ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَاتُوا رُبْعَ الْعُشُورِ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ دِرْهَمًا دِرْهَمًا ، وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ الْمِائَتَيْنِ شَيْءٌ فَإِذَا كَانَتْ مِائَتَيْنِ فَفِيهَا خَمْسَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ، فَمَا زَادَ فَعَلَى حِسَابِ ذَلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take a quarter of a tenth (i.e., two and a half percent) from every forty dirhams; there is no payment due on less than two hundred (dirhams). When they reach two hundred, then five dirhams are due from them. When it is more than that, then payment will be due according to the same calculation."
