بَابُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ سَجْدَةً مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَاChapter on whoever catches a prostration of Fajr before sunrise has caught the prayer
Hadith 1870

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ثَوْرٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَوَفَاءُ بْنُ سُهَيْلٍ ، قَالا : ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ سَجْدَةً مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا ، أَوْ سَجْدَةً قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا " .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever catches one prostration of the morning prayer before the sun rises, he has caught that prayer, and whoever catches one prostration of the (Asr) prayer before the sun sets, he has caught that prayer."
