بَابُ جَوَازِ الْعَمَلِ الْقَلِيلِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَمَا يَلْزَمُ الْمُغْمَى عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْقَضَاءِ وَوَقْتِ صَلَاةِ التَّطَوُّعِChapter on the permissibility of minor actions in prayer, what is required of one who faints regarding making up prayers, and the time for voluntary prayer
Hadith 1856

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، ثنا عَمِّي ، وَشَاذَانُ ، قَالا : نا حَجَّاجٌ ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ بُرْدٍ أَبِي الْعَلاءِ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " اسْتَفْتَحْتُ الْبَابَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي ، فَمَشَى عَنْ يَمِينِهِ أَوْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ فَفَتَحَ لِي ، ثُمَّ عَادَ إِلَى مَقَامِهِ " .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I would ask to open the door while the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was performing standing voluntary prayers at that time, so he (peace be upon him) would come from his right or left side and open the door, and then return to his place.
